Today, I’m grateful for three days in a row of warm weather.
… for the tiny buds on the apple trees in the orchard next door.
… that I’m the last one still fighting the virus we’ve had for two weeks.
… that Eric could take off part of yesterday and today to help me while I’m feeling so crummy.
… that I don’t feel sick all the time.
… for people who ask tough questions that make me think.
… that Eric cleaned the whole kitchen yesterday and it’s still clean today.
… for the bright yellow finch that flew by my window this morning.
… that a toy we don’t need anymore can go to a family who will get good use out of it.
… for PJ day at school. It makes getting everyone out the door in the morning that much easier.
… for Erin’s waves as she heads into school every day.
… for inside jokes between friends.
… that every day is a gift.
